Making access to standards easier

The British Standards Institution (BSI) is a multi-national business service provider whose principal activity is the production of standards and the provision of standards related services. They approached us to re-consider the design of their online standards database.

We developed a new brand for the application and applied this to our design. We then built the front end which required a careful review of the tool’s information architecture.

It was important that our work for the people behind the kite mark was to the highest standard possible.

Friendly

As part of the brand consultancy we undertook before the project we learnt a lot about the culture of BSI. BSOL is a serious tool, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be friendly.
